Websites for musicians

Websites for musicians, bands, producers, DJs and audio engineers

A fast, mobile-first home for your music: press kit, players, show dates, merch and booking links, or a rate card if you mix and master. Built by HIVEMIND SOLUTIONS in Ames, Iowa, for artists anywhere.

What we build

Everything a fan, venue or client looks for.

Social profiles and link pages are useful, but you don't control them. Your own site keeps your music, dates and contact in one place you own.

Artist site or electronic press kit (EPK)

One link for fans, venues, bloggers and labels: your bio, photos, music, press quotes you've actually received, and contact info, laid out so a talent buyer can find it all on a phone.

Embedded music players

Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp or Apple Music embeds, set to load only when a visitor taps them so the page stays fast.

Show and tour dates

A dates list that's easy to keep current, with venue, city and ticket links. Past shows can stay up as a gig history.

Merch and booking links

Clear buttons to your merch store, Bandcamp, streaming profiles, or a booking inquiry form that asks for date, venue and budget.

Rate cards for engineers and producers

Mixing, mastering, production or studio-time rates laid out plainly, or a “rates on request” quote form if you'd rather price per project.

Photo galleries

Press photos and live shots that load fast and stay sharp, with high-resolution downloads for press if you want them.

Mobile-first and fast

Most fans will find you from a phone, usually from a social bio link. Lean code, optimized images and big tap targets.

SEO for your artist name

Clean titles, structured data (MusicGroup or Person schema) and links to your official profiles, so searches for your name are more likely to land on your own site.

Built for how each kind of musician gets booked

  • Independent artists and bands: a home page that plays your latest release, a dates list, a press kit page and merch links.
  • Producers and beatmakers: a catalog or beat store link, placements you're credited on, and a contact form for collaborations.
  • DJs: mixes up front, an events list, and a booking form that asks for the date, venue and set length.
  • Mixing and mastering engineers: services, a rate card or quote form, how to send stems, and turnaround and revision details in plain language.

A real example: Wando Sounds

Wando Sounds is a site HIVEMIND SOLUTIONS built for Aaron Wandling, an audio engineer who mixes and masters music. It's a real site, not a concept. It includes:

  • Its own logo and brand, which we designed along with the site
  • Service sections for mixing, mastering, vocal tuning and editing, and podcast audio cleanup
  • A three-step “how it works” section: send your stems, review and revise, get your files
  • “Rates on request” with a quote form that opens the visitor's email app with their project details filled in
  • A Listen section, ready for the samples Aaron chooses to share
  • A mobile-first layout

Websites for musicians FAQ

How much does a musician website cost?

We use the same packages as every HIVEMIND site. Most solo artists and DJs fit Starter ($449 one-time plus $29/mo hosting and care). Bands, studios and engineers who want more pages and Google setup usually fit Growth Site + Local SEO ($1,195 one-time plus $49/mo). You get a written quote after your free homepage mockup.

Can you put my Spotify, SoundCloud or Bandcamp player on the site?

Yes. We embed the official players from Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp and similar services. We set them to load when tapped, so they don't slow down the page for everyone else.

Do I need a website if I already have Instagram, Linktree and Spotify?

You don't strictly need one, but social platforms and link pages change their rules and reach. A site you own gives venues, press and fans one dependable home that shows up when they search your name.

I'm an audio engineer, not an artist. Is this for me?

Yes. Mixing and mastering engineers, producers and studios usually need a services page, a rate card or quote form, samples of work you have permission to share, and an easy way to send files.

Can I update my own show dates?

Yes, if you'd like. Or send them to us on a care plan and we'll update them for you.

Do you only work with Iowa musicians?

We're based in Ames, Iowa, and everything works remotely, so we can build for artists anywhere.

Let's build a home for your music.
